My Perspectives

And how are you doin’? This is the main portal to a broad array of content that ranges from philosophy to products and services.

First and foremost, I view technology as a gift. It should be used to uplift and advance the human race. Given the broad interpretation prevalent in our language these days, I’m sure this means different things to different people. I consider multiple factors in every assessment of these objectives.

It’s like driving defensively, regardless of right of way.  It aligns with one of my personal observations: if you can’t have freedom without discipline, then you can’t have discipline without freedom.

Creativity defines repeatable steps which is the essence of discipline.

The point is if we can retain flexibility to expand our minds without deluding ourselves, and avoid complacency that takes the place of analysis, then the tool of technology will guarantee advancement and being uplifted.

Opportunity

Next (and equally foremost) is opportunity.

So many areas of opportunity are now available through technology. What needs to happen is to expand broadband and access to devices. Some may consider this impractical idealism but over the course of my life I’ve seen so much waste and misspent money. I can’t help being cynical and attribute that viewpoint to a lack of will.

Not only can you launch a means of selling a product or service but technology can improve life in various creative ways. We have to strive to prevent abuse.
